Return to Fukushima

For several years, the Japanese government has been building residential complexes called "renewal districts" in the heart of Fukushima prefecture. More than ten years after the accident, these types of concrete neighborhoods are appearing in the still highly contaminated region, enclosed in the midst of wild and radioactive nature. This film is an intimate portrait of the residents of these enclaves and a poetic reflection on the region.
