Clouseau has been consistently popular in Belgium and the Netherlands for more than four decades. The group around the iconic duo Koen and Kris Wauters broke through with their hit “ Anne ” in 1989, which topped the Belgian charts and marked the beginning of their long-lasting success. Their oeuvre includes multiple benchmarks in Dutch-language pop music that have even influenced the Dutch language and left an indelible mark on Flemish pop culture, with hits such as: ‘ Daar Gaat Ze ’, ‘ Vanbinnen ’, ‘ Domino ’, ‘ Anne ’, ‘ Nobelprijs ’ and many others. In addition to their rock-solid live reputation, numerous hit singles, tons of awards, and platinum albums, Clouseau is also known for their spectacular concerts in the Sportpaleis. Clouseau celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2024 in an impressive way, with a series of memorable events. The highlight was undoubtedly their return to the iconic Sportpaleis – meanwhile renamed AFAS Dome – where they played to a sold-out arena no fewer than 14 times. The press was unanimously praising and underlined their status as one of the greatest Dutch-language bands of all time: “Masterful and musically magisterial.” “They and no one else are the fathers of the arena concert in Flanders.” “If one thing is clear: Clouseau has not lost a speck of their charm after forty years.” Hundreds of thousands of people once bought a ticket to see the Wauters brothers and their masterful backing band at work. And the story continues: in the summer of 2026, Koen, Kris, and their fantastic band will be back at various festivals and stages throughout Belgium and the Netherlands, with a show full of energy and a cartload of hits. In short, unforgettable! Rising star Emmy d’Arc opens the evening. De Limburgse got her first guitar as a teenager and has been inseparable from the stage ever since. Her track record is impressive: MNM Rising Star 2018, supports for Sting, Amy Macdonald and John Cale, and appearances at Pukkelpop and Rock Werchter. With her soulful voice and energetic, fiery performance, she leaves no one untouched. Fun fact: Emmy already performed alongside CC Centrum… in 2020 she was at our Zomerbubbels as the opening act for Stan Van Samang, then still under the name INE.
