‘Prijsbeest (home is where the hurt is)’, a horror-musical, an electro-opera about a couple who live and work in a slaughterhouse. Years of slaughtering cattle have affected their ability to love each other (physically). To fill the void that gapes between them, they mold a child out of minced meat. Kleine Gaby, half-cow, half-human, is good enough to eat. ‘Prijsbeest (home is where the hurt is)’ is a music theater performance with crying cows and mooing people for everyone from 16 years old. It is the successor to ‘DEVICKY. (wax the pain away)’ which premiered two years ago in c o r s o. They skin. They skin. They want. They want. They kill. They kill.
