Every month, different people prepare a delicious vegetarian meal. Coincidence or not, our first popular kitchen coincides with International Literacy Day. This day marks the beginning of a whole week during which different organizations focus on reading, writing, arithmetic, and digital skills. These are basic skills with which 1 in 6 adults in Flanders and Brussels struggles. This year's theme is "Literacy is a journey that opens doors." Especially for the occasion, we are preparing an alphabet soup in collaboration with the Bib Joske library. Will you create long or wacky words with the letters in your bowl of soup?
