Les Midis poésie propose a day of textile and writing workshop at the Maison du livre in Saint-Gilles. Workshops led by Léa Brami Autour of writing, embroidery, and repair techniques, the workshop proposes that you make a link together to manufacture a collective flag to celebrate your stories. Come and make community, tell a story that has marked your lives, reinvent it, write it, make it resonate with others, and embroider it together to archive it. We will talk about writing of self, fantasized story, collective memory, repair, and know-how. Workshops supported by the Midis poésie in permanent education, in partnership with the Maison du livre in Saint-Gilles. Practical info: - This day of workshops is aimed at LGBTQIAP+ people, of all generations. Another day is planned for June 8, for all audiences. – No level of experience required. – The workshop is offered to a mixed group of 15 people: some of the participants are registered via the partner non-profits of the Midis poésie (day reception centers...), the other part can register individually. – The morning is mainly devoted to writing, the afternoon to textile work. – Participation in the whole day will allow you to benefit from the entire course, but is not mandatory. To benefit from the day, please register for BOTH sessions.
