This training supports professionals who work with children, young people, and adults with a migration or refugee background. Participants become acquainted with conversation techniques and methodologies to give space to personal stories, experiences, and emotions around migration and flight. Using the symbolism of the tree world, they learn how they can guide people to look not only at difficult experiences, but also at their strength, talents, and possibilities to build a new life in a new environment.
The training is aimed at, among others, social workers, educators, teachers, and psychologists who guide children, young people, or adults with a refugee story. It offers concrete tools to engage in a culturally sensitive, connecting, and supportive conversation.
