Thao Cao: What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Funnier - English Stand-Up Comedy

The show opens with a contamination event. It ends with a humanitarian crisis. In between: dry, deadpan storytelling that finds the punchline in the parts of life you're not supposed to laugh about.\n\nThao has been doing comedy since 2014 and has taken her stand-up from Sydney's clubs to stages across Australia and the UK, including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and multiple runs at the Edinburgh Fringe. Expect sharp one-liners, personal storytelling, and a deadpan delivery that sneaks up on you.\n\nFresh off the Edinburgh Fringe, audiences said:\n\"Thao Cao is so funny. My ribs hurt.\"\n\"A feel-good hour full of laughs.\"\n\"Stories that felt personal and genuine.\"\n\"Funny 50 minutes - go see it.\"\n\nYou'll laugh, you'll cringe, and somewhere in the madness, you might just see yourself.\n\nThis is a pay what you want show - come along, laugh, and pay what felt right on the way out.\n\nL'Amère à Boire, St Gilles Sunday, September 6th\nDoors 19:30 · Show 20:00\nPay what you want
