Vinyl Sunday with Tim Beernaert

Het Predikheren is not only a mecca for bookworms. There is also a treasure for lovers of jazz music and vinyl records: 6,000 jazz records from the late 50s to the early 90s are carefully preserved there. Many of these records are now true collector's items and are no longer lent out. Cultuurcentrum Mechelen and Het Predikheren join forces and share these pearls with the public during the concept Vinyl Sunday. Voor Tim Beernaert works music as therapy. As TP Le Green, he lets you feel why on March 25 in the Stadsschouwburg! Which jazz records does he play on Vinyl Sunday? Pieces that get to you: warm, honest, and full of emotion. Music that doesn't just sound, but really does something to you. On four Sunday afternoons throughout the year, well-known jazz fanatics and record freaks get to work with the collection. From 10:30 AM, they play their favorite records in Het Predikheren for an hour and a half while you listen quietly to these pearls and enjoy a drink. Lazy Sunday, the vinyl way!
