Slow Pilot - Falling Off The Earth

We had to wait a while, but at the end of October 2024, Slow Pilot released a second magnificent album, Falling Off The Earth - six years after their first effort, Gentle Intruder. The title suggests that Slow Pilot views the fate of this world somewhat gloomily, but the melancholy that shines through in the lyrics and music only conceals an unbridled optimism and a rock-hard belief that it will all turn out okay (someday). Where Gentle Intruder (2018) had a rather classic and timeless character, the sound of Falling Off The Earth is more layered and adventurous. More current, but still with its roots in several decades of pop history. In short, richer and more mature. And they are more than happy to let the Beverse Homies hear it!
