In front of the steps of the Stock Exchange, Brussels

La Bourse, a Belgian temple of finance completed in 1873, has recently been renovated and repurposed into multipurpose spaces. The beautiful remains of the Récollets Convent, built in 1238, are highlighted in its basements thanks to the 2023 restoration, which created a gallery open to the public. A restaurant, a bar, co-working spaces, and a museum are now housed there. Three architectural firms worked on this exemplary restoration: Bureau d'Études en Architectures Urbaines (BEAU), Popoff architectes, and Robbrecht en Daem architecten. The artist Valérie Mannaerts created the magnificent mosaic that adorns the concrete slab on the ground floor. At the end of the visit, our visitors will be able to pass through the Sky Bar with its stunning view of Brussels!
