Two men meet on stage. From that moment, a funny and slightly surreal story unfolds in which the seemingly tough guys Seraphim Richter and Daniel Fernández Lopéz explore their masculinity. They do this with spectacular aerial acrobatics, moving partner acrobatics, poetic dance, and physical theater. Maelstrom invites you to think about masculinity. What does it mean today? Is it an identity, a hero complex, a language of strength? Or does it also leave room for care, sensitivity, and connection? Perhaps it is a mix of everything, a label that is constantly in motion.
