At only nineteen, Cleopatra is propelled to the head of the Ptolemaic dynasty. Facing the growing shadow of the Roman Empire, the young sovereign must preserve the independence of her kingdom, rebuild a weakened Egypt, and protect her people from external ambitions. Far from the clichés that have long reduced Cleopatra to a seductress, the show reveals a brilliant, polyglot, strategic, and visionary politician. But beyond the corridors of power, Cleopatra – La Reine Louve also reveals the humanity of a woman confronted with her doubts, her sacrifices, and her intimate battles.
