Classical at the Abbey: Tony Nys & Veronika Iltchenko

Folkloric atmospheres Beautiful summer days… memories of fairy tales, dances and popular songs from a bygone era… evocations of English landscapes and the rich chamber music tradition of Great Britain… The violinist Tony Nys, a highly appreciated figure in chamber music and numerous orchestras, in a duo with Veronika Iltchenko, a local virtuoso originally from Jette, string together in "Folk music without borders" a succession of colorful atmospheres, through the works of Béla Bartók, Rebecca Clarke, Carl Reinecke and Pēteris Vasks.
