Summer walk in Wijgmaalbroek

We walk in the old basin of the Dijle north of Leuven with beautiful grasslands and hedgerows. We explore the habitat of the great crested newt, follow old country roads along residential areas with interesting songbirds, and learn something about the management of groves and pastures by Natuurpunt. Distance: approx. 3.5 km. Waterproof footwear is necessary. Not suitable for strollers or wheelchair users. Participation is free, but please register in advance.
