Those familiar with Archiweek, the event on contemporary architecture, will undoubtedly remember this favorite presented under the name DEK38... We dreamed of offering it again to our visitors, and here it is on our agenda!
This remarkable modernist corner house was designed in 1960 by architects Willy Van Der Meeren and Léon Palm for the lawyer P. Verhaegen.
Apparent geometric reinforced concrete frame, red brick panels, glass bricks, and curtain windows give rhythm to the facade, without foreshadowing the ingenious structure of the interior space, admirably restored by the passionate owners.
We will ask you to leave your bags and umbrellas at the entrance and to be very respectful of the house.
