The theft last performance

The film De Diefte has caused quite a stir in the meantime. It is the result of an ambitious film project that was realized in collaboration with the Wetteren academy, more than 200 volunteers, and local acting talent from Wetteren and the surrounding area. The film premiered on December 12 at cc Nova in Wetteren, where 16 sold-out screenings attracted more than 4000 spectators. De Diefte was subsequently shown in a number of cinemas, including Kinepolis Gent, Cinéma Albert in Dendermonde, and ciné Aalst. In total, almost 13,000 spectators have already come to watch the film, and the reactions are very positive. Because perhaps not all Davidsfonds members have seen the film yet, and there are also people who want to see it a second time, there will be another screening on Thursday, June 4 at 2:00 PM at cc Nova. Tickets can be purchased online via cc Nova or physically at the culture desk in the Bib van Wetteren (please check the opening hours in advance). The director/screenwriter will personally welcome you before the start of the screening and give a short introduction to the film. The film itself lasts 125 minutes and the end of the screening will be around 4:15 PM. The team of De Diefte will treat us to coffee and cake after the film.
