Lonnie Holley W/ Nelson Patton & Indré Jurgelevičiūtė

Lonnie Holley is a self-taught musician, visual artist and visionary storyteller whose work transcends boundaries. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1950, Holley transforms memories of hardship, injustice and resilience into deeply moving art. His music moves freely between improvisation, jazz, soul and experimental sounds, carried by a voice that is at once vulnerable, powerful and unmistakably his own. Raw, poetic and profoundly human, his performances are never the same twice. Through his boundless imagination and generosity, Holley reminds us of the transformative power of art: to heal, to connect, and to find beauty and hope in the most unexpected places.
