Is it possible to organize amplified music concerts without carbon energy? To address this question empirically and without breaking the mood, the Zero Carbon Records label, in collaboration with BRASS and vélo M2, will contribute the public and the artists through a program of more or less decarbonized musical activities. Come by bike and produce the electricity yourself needed for the artists who will perform on the outdoor stage, join an improvised orchestra, and attend concerts by an acoustic ensemble, a one-woman band, or even an English psyche folk collective! A way to become aware of our dependence on fossil fuels and to reflect together, on this day of celebration, on the future of music. LINE UP 2 PM – 4 PM >> THE GARBAGE ORCHESTRA workshop with Manu Louis "The trash orchestra" invites participants, whether they are total novices or confirmed musicians, to explore their musical creativity starting from objects found in the immediate environment, voices, and possible instruments. ···> performance at 4:15 PM 4:30 PM – 5 PM >> ENSEMBLE 0 Ensemble 0 is a variable geometry group that has been playing delicate, instrumental, and minimalist music for over twenty years, publishing records on the labels Erased Tapes, Crammed Discs, Ici d’Ailleurs, Sub Rosa, or Flau. After an acoustic first part, plug your bike into one of the 5 generators designed by vélo M2 and pedal in rhythm to power the stage set up in the garden. 5:15 PM – 5:45 PM >> MANU LOUIS In a bathrobe or in a suit, Manu Louis has not stopped touring for the last ten years, bringing his kaleidoscopic club and roll music throughout Europe and Asia. On stage, his voice and guitar electrify sharp electronic music. She gathers sincere and playful words on textured sounds, and takes them to explore DIY synthpop and its derivatives. She gravitates around lived experiences and tries to reveal a part of them, beyond expectations. And here we are arrived at what the ZCR label (Zéro Carbon Records) calls the carbon fiasco, that is, the limits of our lifestyles and consumption and what human energy is capable of producing. We reconnect to the circuit for the time to regain strength in the legs, because afterward, we still have to pedal home. 6:45 PM – 7:15 PM >> DAISY GUAL Daisy Gual is the new solo project of the Brussels musician Leslie Gutierrez (PEGA). A patchwork music and a colorful universe, from mycelial pop to sporadic and catchy melodies, always accompanied by engaged lyrics (because we are far from living in a perfect world, aren't we?!). Let yourself be carried away in a psychedelic dance! 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM >> BLIND YEO Protean entity made up of multiple musicians gathered around the activist Will Greenham, Blind Yeo shines with its contemplative psychedelic grooves, which owe as much to the krautrock of Can as to the post-rock of Tortoise. Created during a residency in a community art space in Falmouth (Cornwall), the group has transformed into a vibrant and changing entity, offering a psychedelic sound carnival and an explosive show. After a double EP in 23/24 and a notable appearance at the Transmusicales in 2025, the group will release an album in mid-August on Bongo Joe and Lost Map.
