Syncardia

On Thursday, June 25, a young piano trio, Syncardia, will be on stage at the Knoet. Syncardia originated from a love for the music of Casiopea, The Brecker Brothers, George Duke, Steps Ahead, etc. Their music is a fusion of different styles: pop, rock, jazz, and funk, sometimes with a small classical undertone. They perform classics from the fusion repertoire and also original compositions by Deruytter. The music played is mostly energetic, intense, and virtuosic, but sometimes also subdued and dreamy. Above all, they want to create a fine atmosphere where fun and good vibes take the lead and envelop the audience in a cocoon of entertainment and joy, powerful enough to ward off the pessimism of modern life.
