Grace and Jackson are a happy young couple, and have everything their hearts desire. They move to a beautiful old house in Montana - amidst the quiet nature - and are expecting their first child. But after the birth, something seems to have changed in Grace. She no longer feels happy. The idyllic surroundings seem to stifle her. She becomes increasingly frustrated and her behavior becomes increasingly erratic and volatile. Jackson tries to reach out, but only makes the situation worse. It doesn't take long before Grace tries to find her happiness elsewhere. Die My Love is simultaneously a psychosexual thriller, a marriage drama, and a character study of a hopelessly lost woman. Expect, above all, an excellent, very sensory acting performance from Jennifer Lawrence (Red Sparrow, Mother!), who recently spoke in an interview about her own postnatal depression, and for whom the film was therefore a very personal project. She is assisted by Pattinson (The Lighthouse), who adds another wonderfully quirky role to his resume just a month after The Drama.
