Guided bicycle tour along urban green projects

During this guided bike ride, we explore Genk by bike and pause at various green projects that the city has realized in recent years. Along the way, city staff provide explanations about the vision, choices, and execution behind these projects. The bike ride starts at C-mine in the parking lot at the cinema and runs via the EC-laan to the center and the cemetery. Then we visit the Molenvijverpark, where larger park- and water-related projects are also discussed. We end in the Heempark. The bike ride proceeds at a leisurely pace and is achievable for everyone. Participation is only possible after prior registration and the number of places is limited. After registration, participants will receive all practical details, such as the exact time, the route, and further arrangements. We conclude in the Heempark, where there is room to chat afterwards with a drink.
