Games afternoon - Stronger together in the digital world for children and parents

If you are in the 4th, 5th, or 6th grade , come to a games afternoon on June 3rd that offers a playful and educational environment for children and (grand)parents to discover media together. At four themed tables, people will engage in conversation in an accessible way, through games and relatable situations. Gaming Children show their favorite game and take their parent into their gaming world. This opens up the conversation about fun, talents, and a healthy balance. Based on our experiences, we provide some helpful tips. Social media & boundaries Through interactive games, we reflect on privacy, sharing photos, and treating each other with respect in the digital world. We also ensure that you can later have the conversation within the family in a way that makes everyone feel comfortable. Screen time Families explore together what screen time does to them. Through small assignments, they look for a balance that feels right. Here too, we have tools that you can use at home to make screen time a topic of discussion. The positive side of media Media are discovered as connecting tools for creativity, stories, and positive vibes. We ensure that the different worlds are connected to each other in a fun way. Together, the themed tables form a warm journey full of play and conversation, for anyone curious about the impact and opportunities of media.
