May 2022. Actor Thibault Wathelet contacts his friend Alexandre Drouet to help him make video capsules on alcohol addiction. \nThey then interview 15 people, some in the midst of a struggle against alcoholism, others abstinent for a shorter or longer time. \nThibault asks the questions, Alexandre films. Everything is filmed in a house in Ottignies: Patchwork, a service that supports and helps dependent people. \n\nAn year later, following this harrowing experience and still moved and inhabited by these accounts, Alexandre proposes to Thibault to make it a show that he will write and in which Thibault will play. \n\nBut how to approach a subject as sensitive as our relationship to alcohol? Object theater then imposes itself. For its indispensable distance. For its universality, too. And because it allows the playful delicacy of detachment. \n\n24.09 > 9.10.2026 \nThéâtre Blocry
