Cinema Storck: Truly Naked

Alec is a gentle and introverted teenager whose entire experience with sexuality is helping out at his father Dylan's low-budget porn company. After his mother's death, Alec becomes increasingly involved in the business. He only comes into contact with sexuality by observing his father's performative acts through the lens of his camera. After the family business's income shows a dramatic downward trend, father and son must move to a small coastal town; a new beginning for Alec. At school, Alec meets the quirky Nina, with outspoken feminist views, a remarkable contrast to what he is used to at home. As their relationship deepens, Alec's understanding of sexuality and desire begins to change. Nina challenges him to dare to be vulnerable and to discover together what it means to truly expose yourself and be seen.
