Latitude 50 - Pôle arts du cirque et de la rue, Marchin
Circus and motorcycle\n\nFabulation is a show halfway between circus and physical stunt. A piece that probes the border between reality and fiction through the prism of two circassian-stuntwomen. Constance Bugnon and Gianna Sutterlet, respectively specialists in Chinese pole and Korean springboard, meet here around the motorcycle as a new common apparatus, and they explore physical risk-taking together. Stuntwork becomes their means of transformation, their simulation technique. By playing with appearances and fabulating, the artists have the intimate conviction that they offer the possibility of telling themselves otherwise to make the imperceptible visible and bring forth new narratives of feats.\n\nTrained at the School of Cirque de Québec, Constance Bugnon develops a career as a performer, author, and pedagogue, notably with the company Ici’Bas, Cirque Entre Nous, and Collectif Sous le Manteau. Gianna Sutterlet trained at ESAC Brussels, then at CNAC in circassian dramaturgy. Cofondatrice de Tripotes la Compagnie, she also collaborates with Side-Show, El Nucleo, and Be Flat.
