Construction sites in Hasselt – a city in full motion

Hasselt continues to build for the future. Ten years ago, construction cranes already determined the view of the city center, with striking projects such as ’t Scheep, Ursulinenhof, Refuga, and Bonnefant. Today, these realizations have been completed, but the city has been anything but quiet. Recently, the beautifully renovated Begijnhof was festively inaugurated, and there is buzzing activity elsewhere as well. Think of the large-scale works at the station, the redevelopment of the Havermarkt with the Oud Gerechtsgebouw, and the Groenplein where an impressive art project is taking shape in the former Administratief Centrum.
