During a three-hour boat trip along the Oosterweel works and the port of Antwerp, you will learn everything about the Oosterweel Link . This has been announced for several years as ‘the construction site of the century’. Because of its scale and many fields of knowledge, it is a unique project , not only in Flanders but even within Europe. It is a true feat of engineering. All conceivable technological and construction innovations are being used to create a smoother, safer, greener, and healthier Antwerp region. On the boat, you will get coffee or tea with a snack. After the boat trip, a sandwich lunch will be ready for us in De Lokeend, a 20-minute walk from our mooring place. After lunch, you still have an hour to wander around the beautiful Antwerp yourself. We stay in the vicinity of the MAS with many terraces and other sights. At 4 PM we leave back to Turnhout. We leave at 8 AM at parking Stadspark in Turnhout (intersection Graatakker – Papenbruggestraat). Arrival home in Turnhout expected around 5 PM.?
