Strawberry cycling tour with picnic

We will cycle in a group for about 5 kilometers along quiet roads to the strawberry farm Van Poucke, where the children can pick and take home a 500g punnet of strawberries. Afterwards, we will cycle to the fruit farm Van Poucke where we will eat our picnic. Gezinsbond Heusden is organizing a strawberry bike ride with a picnic again this year. We will gather by 10:00 AM at the parking lot of the Kollebloem domain, Leenstraat 18, Heusden. A car is available to transport the picnic (and your own drinks) if desired. We will cycle in a group for about 5 km along quiet roads to the strawberry farm Van Poucke. There, the children can pick a 500g punnet of strawberries for themselves. Afterwards, we will cycle another 1.5 km to the fruit farm and farm shop Van Poucke where we will eat our picnic (Reigersstraat 9, Beervelde). After the picnic, we will cycle back to the Kollebloem. We will finish around 1:30 PM. You can also cycle straight home. The accompanying (grand)parents are responsible for supervising their (grand)children. We will provide road captains for the journey. Please provide your own high-visibility vest and bicycle helmet. We count on the children who are cycling along having sufficient cycling skills to ride on the street in a group at a leisurely pace.
