Playing aggressive and fearless sets with a mix of rhythms, BPMs, and experimental sounds, she connects traditional and urban genres in a way that truly pays tribute to and revalues the original music of the continent. No surprise she has collaborated with Rosalía, Gaika, and Nathy Peluso to name but a few. In Buenos Aires she co-founded the (influential!) Hiedrah collective, while on this side of the Atlantic she brought her feminist, queer, and anti-colonial blend of hard house, baile funk, and guaracha to the likes of Rewire, Unsound, Primavera, CTM Berlin… We can’t wait for Tayhana to transform the OUT of LOVE rooftop into a portal where Latin culture is emotion, politics, spirituality and the future – for a lifetime, for this summer, or even just for one night
