Guided tour in the Groen Kwartier

One of the committed residents will show you around and tell you about the rich past of the neighborhood, how residents have organized themselves and are committed to neighborhood life, and take care of the many monuments in the area. Gasthuis28 is the community center of and for the Groen Kwartier and surroundings. Het Groen Kwartier was developed on the former site of the Militair Hospitaal Antwerpen and cherishes a rich historical past with several characteristic monuments such as the monastery (now August), the boiler house (now The Brick), the chapel (now Rite Studio's), the gatehouse (now restaurant camion/camionette), and the Generale Staf (now the offices of AG Vespa).
