Through her story, the documentary explores memory, family ties and social transformation in contemporary Brazil. Personal recollections and family histories are interwoven with the political, cultural and social changes that have shaped the country over recent decades. The film offers an intimate portrait of different generations and the enduring bonds that connect families and communities. In this edition of Cinéclube Panorama Brasilis, audiences are invited to reflect on care, continuity and the power of personal narratives to illuminate broader historical processes. Following the screening, director Thor Neukranz, who is also Luzinete Lupercina’s grandson, will join the audience for a discussion about the film, its creation and the role of documentary cinema in preserving collective memory.
