Disclosure Day. Universal Pictures proudly presents a new original film, created and directed by Steven Spielberg. The film stars SAG winner and Oscar® nominee Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer, A Quiet Place), Emmy and Golden Globe winner Josh O'Connor (Challengers, The Crown), Oscar® winner Colin Firth (The King's Speech, Kingsman franchise), Eve Hewson (Bad Sisters, The Perfect Couple), and two-time Oscar® nominee Colman Domingo (Sing Sing, Rustin). The screenplay is based on a story by Spielberg and written by David Koepp, who previously collaborated with Spielberg on the scripts for Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. These films together grossed more than 3 billion dollars worldwide. Koepp also wrote the script for Jurassic World Rebirth, which will be released in 2025. Disclosure Day is produced by Kristie Macosko Krieger (The Fabelmans, West Side Story), who has been nominated five times for an Academy Award®, and by Spielberg for Amblin Entertainment. The executive producers are Adam Somner and Chris Brigham. Steven Spielberg is one of the most successful and influential filmmakers in the film industry. Spielberg is the highest-grossing director of all time and has directed blockbusters such as Jaws, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, the Indiana Jones franchise, and Jurassic Park. He has numerous awards to his name, including three Academy Awards®, including Oscars® for Beste Regisseur and Beste Film for Schindler's List, which won a total of seven Oscars®, and for Beste Regisseur for Saving Private Ryan. His most recent film, The Fabelmans, was released in 2022 by Universal and received seven Academy Award® nominations, including for Director, Beste Originele Scenario, Beste Actrice, and Beste Film.
