The village follows her, eventually forming a colorful procession. Everyone shares their anecdote about the young girl, revealing each part of her life in turn. There are those who encourage her, those who want to dissuade her, but nothing and no one will be able to stop her. In this fable, Félix Vannoorenberghe brilliantly embodies all the characters to tell the story of Maria's revolt and the collective awakening of an entire village. To bring this modern western to life, he is accompanied by musician Florence Sauveur, in a set design awarded the Prix Maeterlinck of the Critics in 2023.
