GE-START - the crash course for social doers

GE-START is a qualifying and practice-oriented training trajectory for employees in the social sector who have not followed a social preliminary education, but want to strengthen their competencies. The training course offers a solid introduction to the foundations of social work and helps participants to further develop their professional actions. During the training course, essential themes and basic skills are covered, such as conducting helping conversations, reflecting on one's own professional practice, working with diverse target groups, gaining insight into societal themes, and getting to know organizations and the social map. The focus is on directly applicable knowledge and skills that support participants in their daily work practice.
