Bauhaus Spirit : 100 Years of Bauhaus - Niels Bolbrinker & Thomas Tielsch

The film will be preceded by one of the short films from the Dance+City series. What does a Latin American favela have to do with an old workers’ settlement in Dessau? What is the connection between a Jewish socialist in a rural commune and the children in a school class in Stockholm ? All of these stories concern visions and the practical attempts to make them come true. This film won the Best Documentary Award at the Montreal Festival of Films on Art and First Prize at the MIASTOmovie Film Festival. This film screening is brought to you in the context of the Festival of the New European Bauhaus 2026.
