The exhibition "Woody Heritage" runs from Wednesday, June 3 to Sunday, June 21 in the Geel library. On Tuesday evening, we will open the exhibition with a lecture by Gert Gielis, team leader of green and water management for the Geel city administration, and Wouter Vanpoucke, project employee at the landscape management desk of the Regionaal Landschap Kleine and Grote Nete. Some questions that will be answered: What is the administration doing to make the city greener? How are new trees planted and subsequently protected? What about valuable heritage trees? What can you do yourself? What does the Regionaal Landschap do and how did this exhibition come about?
