Panorama of styles of the avenue of Sept Bonniers

The realization of the very beautiful and tree-lined Avenue des Sept Bonniers (partly in the municipality of Forest, partly in the municipality of Uccle) is part of the development of the Altitude Cent district in Forest, on land once occupied by farms and large properties of which only Château Duden remains. Built between 1901 and the Second World War, it offers an interesting panorama of the styles of that era and also allows one to observe the evolution of the cottage style during this period. Some beautiful examples of Art Déco architecture punctuate this visit, as well as a beautiful villa by Paul Hamesse.
