DJ Ahmet

Ahmet is a 15-year-old shepherd with dreams bigger than his family's herd. Ahmet's life is a monotonous loop of herding sheep and harvesting tobacco, with his only escape being the pulsating synths of electronic music. Ahmet's father is as stuck in his ways as a record caught in a scratched groove. After the death of Ahmet's mother, he pulls his son out of school and binds him to the farm and the suffocating rhythm of rural life. Maar Ahmets heart beats to a different tempo, a tempo filled with secret raves in the woods and dreams of spinning tracks with the girl next to the barn.
