Plant and nature excursion in the Roeler and Munsterbeek valley (Lanaken-Zutendaal).

This year, Natuurpunt Lanaken and Natuurlijk Zutendaal are once again organizing a number of plant excursions together, spread across Lanaken and Zutendaal. These will take place every Wednesday evening in June, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. With an experienced guide and, of course, in great company, you will learn to identify plants step by step. Prior knowledge is not necessary. Everyone is welcome, and admission is free. Overview of excursions · Zutendaal and Gebroekerbeek valley (June 3). Departure: parking Belevingscentrum Biodiversiteit Lieteberg, Stalkerweg 46 (Zutendaal). · Bezoensbeek valley (June 10). Departure: parking Hoogkantstraat-Schansstraat (Zutendaal), at the Jeroen Brouwers monument. · Roeler and Munsterbeek valley (June 17). Departure: parking De Krieckaert, Krieckaertlaan 1 (Gellik). On June 17, 2006, the plant excursion in the Roeler and Munsterbeek valley is on the program. In these two valuable stream valleys, at the transition between the Kempen and Haspengouw regions, you will find various habitats. This ensures a great diversity of plants, including a number of rare species. After the walk, there is the possibility to have a drink on a terrace.
