Peter Verhoyen (piccolo) and Ann-Sofie Verhoyen (harp) bring an enchanting concert with a varied program that includes both classical and traditional work. Peter Verhoyen , solo piccolo player at the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, has positioned himself over the years as a specialist on this unique instrument. Since 2006, together with pianist Stefan De Schepper, he has been developing special concert projects for piccolo and piano, with which he put the piccolo on the map as a recital instrument. His contributions to Flemish chamber music were awarded the Fuga Trofee in 2017, and in 2025 he was appointed a member of the Koninklijke Academie van Belgi for Sciences and Arts. Ann-Sofie Verhoyen is a passionate harpist who focuses mainly on chamber music, with a special preference for the flute-harp duo. In 2020, she released her first CD, The Nightingale, in collaboration with Peter Verhoyen, an innovative approach to the flute-harp duo repertoire. Since 2013, she has been accompanying harpists at the International Flute Seminar in Bruges, where she shares her knowledge and experience. Together, they bring a musical adventure that beautifully showcases the versatility of both the flute and the harp.
