Walk in Pajotteland: in situ in a Brueghel painting

A few kilometers west of Brussels begins the Pajotteland: a region with varied and enchanting landscapes that inspired many artists, including many paintings by the famous Brueghel. A bucolic walk, putting into perspective some of his most striking works, with the tumultuous history of the region during the painter's stay in Brussels as a backdrop. Lasting 3 hours, the walk covers +/- 7 kilometers of dirt and asphalt paths, following in part the route of the Bruegel wandelpad. Easy parking around the church and access by bus De Lijn no. 118, to be taken at platform 6 opposite the Midi station => stop St Anna Pede Kerk. This visit is organized as part of the Brussels Renaissance Festival.
