The crates display all kinds of clay types that are organized by province: Antwerp coarse, Liège sausage, West Flemish gray… Clay here is not just a raw material for sculpture, but also a sculpture in itself . Is it a nod to provincialism and chauvinism, or does the installation summarize art commerce? Feel free to negotiate with the gallerist who is keeping the stall open especially for this occasion. PRACTICAL You are welcome continuously from 09:00 to 15:00 under the Venetiaanse Gaanderijen. ABOUT THE LONGEST DAY From sunrise to sunset. Artists move in and between Mu.ZEE and KAAP in Ostend.
