Village cinema: Café Derby – Lenny Van Wesemael

Met de Dorpscinema, in collaboration with The Roxy Theatre, is touring the city of Beringen to organize free film screenings in mostly idyllic locations to put Flemish/Belgian cinema in the spotlight.\n\nRegistration in advance is mandatory and can be done by phone, by email, by appointment at the desk or online via www.ccberingen.be. When the pope comes to Belgium, he rents Café Derby next to the mass site to make quick money. His family doubts, but Georges pushes through.\n\nCafé Derby is a warm tragicomedy about entrepreneurship, family and continuing to dream against reality.
