In search of nature around De Prijkels

The extensive industrial estate De Prijkels, on the border of Deinze, Nazareth, and Kruisem, is bordered by wide lanes with varied and flower-rich verges. Some grass plots are extensively grazed by sheep. The seven wadis must protect the company buildings from flooding and also attract quite a few amphibians and water birds.
