CLEAN is an intense family drama about police officer Mathieu, whose carefully ordered life collapses again when his heroin-addicted brother Timo suddenly appears during Christmas, after years of silence. Wanneer Timo is arrested during an intervention, Mathieu loses control: determined to “save” his brother, he locks him in a remote cabin for a brutal cold-turkey withdrawal. As the situation escalates, Mathieu is forced to choose between his career, his family, and his last chance at reconciliation with his brother. CLEAN is an emotional journey about addiction and the limits of control. The film makes us reflect on how we see addicts: as a victim or as a perpetrator/criminal?
