This sound healing concert is an invitation to leave the everyday behind for a moment and surrender to sound. Andy creates a landscape of vibrations, resonances, and subtle harmonies, originating from different corners of the world. From the first note, a sound world unfolds that gently lifts you up and guides you. Eastern atmospheres alternate with the overtones of singing bowls, dreamy flute tones, mysterious Middle Eastern sounds, and many other soulful instruments. A true sound tapestry is woven upon which body and mind may rest. The sounds move through you like waves, sometimes deep and grounding, then again light and spacious. They bring you step by step to a state of stillness and clarity. 'The Sonic Voyage' is not a journey to a distant destination, but inward. To that place where breath becomes deeper, thoughts slow down, and you feel connected to yourself again. Lie down. Close your eyes. And let yourself be carried by the power of sound. Biografie Andy Vanbeveren is passionate about music and its effects on people. What once started with singing bowls and gongs has since grown into a collection of more than 300 instruments. Native American Flute, didgeridoo, handpan, tongue drum, all kinds of percussion and drums, numerous string instruments, piano, and many other world instruments belong to his unique collection. He completed various training courses at home and abroad and was able to learn from many great 'masters' in their field such as Hans de Back (singing bowls), Shree Krishna Shahi and Santa Ratna Shakya (singing bowls), Don Conreaux (gongs), Michael Telepary (Native American Flute), Nestor Kornblum (overtone singing),... Since 2010, he has more than 1000 concerts to his name. Not only throughout Flanders, but also in the Netherlands. He has played at Tomorrowland, the Japanese Garden in Hasselt, Casino van Blankenberge, numerous cultural centers, churches, etc. He is known for his continuous innovations in sound combinations. A passion that he now also knows how to interpret via live looping. In the past, he has played together with other musicians such as Tylaine Van den Broeck (piano), Gilbert Isbin (lute), John Snauwaert (sax), Michael Telapary (American Native Flute), Nicolas Mortelmans (sitar), Hari Paudjal (bansuri flute), Hélène Philippart (bansuri flute and transverse flute), Manish Pingle (slide guitar), Catherine Maes (mezzo-soprano), Bart Gits (taiko), Kees Kort (shakuhachi), Aki Vergels-Sato (koto), Cantavita (overtone singing), etc. In addition, he has already accompanied numerous yoga sessions, meditation, team building events, festivals, Ecstatic Dance, etc.
