Wagon play

There will be 3 performances of 20 minutes played that day: at 3:00 PM, 3:50 PM & 4:30 PM. The actors arrive at the party by horse and cart. They sing about the seasons, life, love, and the village or the city. In the footsteps of their medieval predecessors, they come as modern troubadours to bring three stories. Part one sings about death, a miracle play takes you to part two, and in part three, you come home to a local myth. With a touch of acrobatics, singing together, and a lot of pleasant madness, the players ensure the rebirth of the ancient Vlaamse Wagenspel. A living ritual, a contemporary celebration of art, living together, laughing, singing, dreaming, and crying. Everyone is welcome to watch, experience, and play along. After all, the cart of the Wagenspel is also a stage where the local community and the human being themselves are put in the spotlight. Ladida!
