Fémini Festival

On 2 and 3 October 2026, Fémini Festival returns to Brussels for its 8th edition. Created in 2019, the festival puts the spotlight on artistic projects predominantly led by women and creates a space for artists, cultural professionals and audiences to meet and exchange. Through a multidisciplinary programme bringing together music, theatre, cinema and discussion, Fémini Festival aims to strengthen the visibility of women in the arts and contribute to a more inclusive and representative cultural sector. The festival also creates space to address questions of equality and representation, while remaining open to everyone. The 2026 edition opens on 2 October with an introductory DJ workshop led by Kaâm, welcoming around fifteen young women to discover DJing in a space dedicated to learning and exchange. On 3 October, a screening of Berit De Sutter’s short film “Symbiose” will be followed by a round table exploring the place of women in the music sector, bringing together professionals and organisations working towards a more inclusive industry. The day continues with two performances presented in collaboration with the Royal Conservatory of Brussels: “Un jour viendra la paix du slip !” by and featuring Sapho Baworowski, and “Donna Cello” by and featuring Marie Garrigue and Adrien Marsia. The festival will close with a DJ set by Kaâm. Fémini Festival advocates for an accessible and inclusive cultural space, open to everyone and designed to encourage discovery, exchange and participation.
