On Sunday, October 11, horses, carriages, and pets gather again on the Markt for the annual Torhoutse Paardenzegening. An atmospheric moment where tradition, nature, and connection come together. After the annual walk for horses and carriages follows the highlight: the blessing on the market, accompanied by the familiar Theban ensemble Intrada with their trumpets. This year, the Hubertus Vereniging Vlaanderen will also be present. They will provide an explanation about the role of hunting and wildlife management in Flanders with their educational information vehicle. Pets are once again very welcome to be blessed.
