Het Walbos Wonder Weekend The last weekend of the summer holidays, Natuurpunt De Torenvlak is organizing the second Walbos Wonder weekend. After last year's successful edition, we are offering you the chance again this year to spend the night in the Walbos and participate in all kinds of cool workshops and activities. Do you want to end the summer holidays with a top weekend in nature? Then this is something for you and your family! What you can expect: You are welcome from 5:00 PM, you can set up your tent, have a drink, and get settled in comfortably. We start with the first workshop at 6:00 PM on Friday evening, August 28, and end on Saturday afternoon, August 30. 40 people can stay overnight in the Walbos, we are creating a small campsite for this. There are toilets and a sink available. We also provide continuous water, tea, and coffee. On Friday evening, we start with an exploration of the Walbos or a special activity for the little ones. Afterward, you will get a tasty, healthy, vegetarian meal on the campfire. Once the sun begins to set, we will go looking for owls and hear about the erotic life of animals. Saturday morning, you can join us early in the morning to look for moths and birds. When your stomach is full of all that natural beauty, it is time to fill your stomach with goodies. Torenvalkers will provide a healthy and tasty local breakfast. In the afternoon, we will go tracking in the nature reserve. Who knows what testimonies we will all find? Alternatively, you can choose an eco-print workshop where we make coloring and stamps to transform your simple fabric into a natural top print. Are you participating too? Children between 5 - 15: 25 euros for Natuurpunt members, 35 euros for non-members.
